Corrine Shroud grew up in the Appalachian rural reaches of Kentucky nestled in an embrace of mountains and forests. She has a large and loving family with three younger brothers and has thrived in her beautiful, culture-rich region that has inspired her and that she’s proud of. She graduates from the University of Kentucky in 2013 with a degree in dietetics and a minor in mythology and folklore with honors. She has been writing since she was thirteen and since then has been published in several venues.
Corrine also enjoys drawing, watching movies, cooking and listening to music, which can include melodic death metal and bluegrass, sometimes at the same time.
